SR Technics Project

Work on the construction of the new MRO Hanger Facility at Malta International Airport have progressed satisfactorily.  Most of the foundation works have been completed, and the above ground structures have began to take shape.  An important feature of this project, is the re-cycling of the excavated materials.  This is being done by an onsite stone crusher that converts the excavated materials into gravel and sand, that will be later be used for the production of concrete.
The works are being carried out by EPAM JV, formed between Polidano Group, FMCore, E&L Enterprises Limited and Aircraft Support Industries.
The MRO Hangar Facility is being constructed for SR Technics, which is a Swiss-based world leading MRO service provider for the civil aviation sector that offers its customers comprehensive and fully customized solutions for the technical support and management of their aircraft fleets, engines and components.
The works shall be under the supervision of the Architectural Firm IAS.
The expansion for SR Technics will bring an investment of 35 million euro and create 510 employees, 200 of whom have already been recruited.
