Hollow concrete blocks have rapidly become a popular building material in Malta, for which there is an unlimited demand. Companies within the Group utilize considerable quantities of hollow blocks as was the case in the construction of the five star Westin Dragonara Resort. All the production batches are laboratory tested. The high quality obtained has earned the company a considerable quota of the local market as well as the ISO 9002 Certification. The company has its own extensive storage facilities where curing takes places.

Polmix Ltd. also produces a range of 5 attractive, interlocking cement paving blocks available in a variety of colours. The blocks are decorative and durable, ideal for use in exterior paving surfaces such as footpaths, promenades and other public places. The Malta Freeport has awarded Polmix Ltd. a long term contract to manufacture specialized paving blocks to their specifications, capable of withstanding continuous heavy traffic.
